Castleberry
Mr. Luther Croley, 77, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005, in Brewton. He was a native of Uriah and a resident of Castleberry for the past 33 years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge Downing 580, a town councilman for two terms, a member of the Castleberry Volunteer Fire Department and a deacon at Castleberry Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lois Croley of Castleberry; a son, Luther Joseph Croley of Castleberry; two daughters, Mary Fay Abbott of Castleberry, and Janet Sue Croley of Bermuda, Ala.; a brother, E.L. (Dot) Croley of Century, Fla. and two grandchildren, Tracey Luther and Christina Lee Parr of Castleberry.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 24, at 3 p.m. at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Godbee and the Rev. Adam Armstrong officiating. Burial followed at Godwin Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
