Brewton Yankees edged out by Flomaton Thursday

Flomaton No. 1 got the best of the Brewton Yankees Thursday night as they came away with a 9-7 win.
For Flomaton, Jackson Steele was 1-for-2 with a double and scored two runs while Alex Cash was 2-for-3 with a single and a triple and scored one run. Dalton Kent was 2-for-3 with a single and a triple and scored one run while Nick Turner was 1-for-2 with a single and scored one run.
Parker Knowles went 1-for-2 with a single and scored two runs and Skyler Busby and Blake Mallet added one hit each. Tyler Merritt and Jerry Carnley both scored one run each.
On the mound, Cash went five innings and allowed five hits, seven runs, walked four and struck out three.
For the Yankees, Logan Bush was 1-for-3 with a single and scored one run and J.D. Hartin was 1-for-2 with a single and scored two runs.
Blake Jernigan was 2-for-3 with a single and a double and scored two runs while Brandon Coleman was 1-for-2 with a single and Stone Martin and Mac Baxter scored one run each.
On the mound, Blake Jernigan went four innings and allowed nine hits, nine runs, walked three and struck out six while Bush went one inning and walked one.
