Mr. Donnie Ray Salter, 49, of Flomaton, died suddenly Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, in Flomaton. He was a native and life-long resident of Escambia County, Ala. He was of the Baptist faith and a welder helper.
He is survived by two sons, Daman Salter of Selma and Josh Salter of Flomaton; one daughter, Laura Salter of Flomaton; and two sisters, Pearl Salter McCory of Birmingham and Ruby Salter Hale of Pensacola, Fla.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 30, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Wallace Reid officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Cemetery on Appleton Road with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
