Mr. George Donald Moulder Sr., 80, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, in a Century nursing facility after an extended illness. He was a native of Lawrenceville, Ga., and a former resident of Fernandina Beach, Fla., before moving to Brewton in 1957. He was of the Baptist faith, a U.S. Navy veteran, a member of Norris Lodge and a retired tour foreman from Smurfit Stone.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel White Moulder of Brewton; a son, Donnie (Kathy) Moulder Jr. of Brewton; a daughter, Linda Joyce (Alvin) Bell of Wenatchee, Wash.; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Herman Smith officiating. Burial will follow at a later date and time in Axson, Ga., with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
