Reid State Technical College will hold commencement exercises on Friday, May 12, at 6 p.m. in the Wiley Salter Auditorium in Evergreen.
Attorney Dawn Wiggins Hare, candidate for Circuit Court Judge for Conecuh and Monroe counties, will be the commencement speaker.
Photojournalist, Janet Durrans of New York, will be attending graduation as a special guest. Durrans will showcase her final viewing of ‘Afghanistan: Through The Burqa' and share her insights into the traumas of life for the women and children of Afghanistan.
Durrans will be in the library following graduation ceremonies to visit with guests.
A total of 65 students will complete graduation requirements at the spring commencement exercise.
Associate degrees, diplomas and certificates will be presented to graduates.
