Mr. William Douglas Dendler, 96, died Tuesday, May 23, 2006, after an extended illness. He was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, a former resident of Jacksonville, Fla., and a resident of Brewton since 2004.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Annie Lee Merritt Dendler; four children, Florence Moomey of Altamonte Springs, Fla., Douglas Dendler of Ruskin, Fla., Marsha Raulerson of Brewton, and Lynn Adams of Tucson, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Thursday, May 25, in Jacksonville, Fla. with Craver's Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements.
