Mrs. Annie Hurt Holman Milford, 92, died Monday, June 26, 2006, at her residence in Milwaukee. She was a native of Brewton, a graduate of the University of Alabama and a resident of Montevallo for 52 years. She played an active role in the establishment of the Montevallo city library, was a long time member of the garden club and a member of the Montevallo First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Milford.
She is survived by her son, Guy W. (Sandra Braman) Milford of Milwaukee; two grandchildren, Elizabeth (Ken) Dieffenbach of Springfield Va. And Paul G. Milford of Memphis, Tenn.; a sister, Russ Jones of Lafayette and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held later in Montevallo. Feerick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
