Each month of the school year, administration and teachers at Pollard-McCall Junior. High School choose students to be named as students of the month.
The first students chosen for this honor for the 2006-2007 school year have been selected for August 2006.
Kaylee Burkett   and Chloe Carden were chosen for the honor from among kindergarten students at the school.
The first grade is being represented by Danielle Sager. The second and third grade students of the month are Jacob Yuhasz and Baley Carden, respectively.
Haley White will represent the fourth grade with Dakota White receiving the honor for the fifth grade.
Erin Kelly will represent the sixth grade with Lauren Lambeth receiving the honor for the seventh grade. Mark Conway will represent the eighth grade with the honor.
Students hold the honor for one month until new students are selected to receive the award.
