Mr. Charles Delane Holloway, 71, died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006, at a local nursing facility after an extended illness. He was a native of Brantley and a long-time resident of Escambia County, Ala. He was retired from the City of East Brewton and was a member of Dixonville Community of Christ Church.
He is survived by his wife, Dot Lord Holloway of East Brewton; two stepsons, Alfred Perez of East Brewton and Joe Perez of California; three stepdaughters, Linda Christiansen of Cataula, Ga., Camille Hardy of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Sonja Martin of Greenville, S.C.; one sister, Opal Paul of Mobile and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct 18, at 10 a.m. at the Dixonville RLDS Cemetery with Seventy Ernie Calhoun and the Rev. Billy Thompson officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
