Play in the Alabama South State Babe Ruth Softball Tournament begins today in Brewton as the YMCA Sports Park will host the 8U, 10U and 12U tournaments.

8U
Joining Brewton and East Brewton in the 8U tournament will be Covington County and Northwest Escambia.
East Brewton and CC will meet up against each other Thursday at 3:30 p.m. on Field D. Brewton and NWE will meet at 3:30 p.m. on Field A. The winners will play Friday at 7:30 p.m. on Field A while the losers will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Field D.
Joining Brewton and East Brewton’s teams in the 10U tournament will be Tri-County and Covington County.

10U
In the 10U bracket, East Brewton will begin play Thursday at 7:30 p.m. against Tri-County on Field A. Brewton will play Covington County at 5:30 p.m. on Field A.
The winners will play Friday at 5:30 p.m. on Field A while the losers will meet at 3:30 p.m. on Friday on Field A.

12U
In the 12U tournament, teams will be Tri-County, Northwest Escambia, Covington County, Brewton and East Brewton.
In the 12U tournament, East Brewton will play Tri-County at 5:30 p.m. Thursday on Field D. Brewton will play CC at 7:30 p.m. Thursday on Field D.
The East Brewton/Tri-County winner will play NWE at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
The loser of Tri-County/East Brewton and CC/Brewton will meet on Field D Friday at 3:30 p.m.
The winner of the tournaments will head to regionals in Arkansas.
